Well Spent’s ambition is to make shopping ethically the norm, by making it as seamless as possible for individuals to shop according to their values. Their tool, a chrome extension, facilitates this by outlining products on popular online retailers in red, amber or green, based on how well the practices of that brand align with the user’s personal values.
By providing consumers with this information, in a visual way that is integrated into the way they already shop, we hope to help our users to make more informed decisions, and in doing so hope to apply financial pressure to change to brands with undesirable practices.
Well Spent is looking for a developer who can help with database configurations (like MongoDB/DynamoDB)
This project would be interesting for someone who has experience with databases and chrome extensions, who can work with the current developer to get the extension up and running.
